Gary and I graduated from Bellflower High School in 1958. At our Senior All Night Party, Sharron Day Hammer and I decided to hide in nearby bushes and grab the cutest guys walking by to give them sweet kisses - Gary was one of them!! Sharron and I didn"t smoke or drink then so we were having a great time with the boys! The next morning I received three calls from some of those boys asking me out on a date - Gary was one of them! I couldn"t go because I did have a boyfriend at the time.
Gary was not only handsome but kind and sweet - we saw each other at reunions and he was having a happy life at those times - Life on a Boat is quite different - He was a fun guy!! I will miss you - see you across the River.

Gary and I were in the same graduating class at Bellflower High School. We went on a few dates including one with Judy Dingwell and another classmate. On that one we hiked in the nearby mountains and the guys had brought some pistols and we did some target shooting. Gary had a bright red classic coupe which was fun to ride in. After high school, I saw Gary once at the Lakewood YMCA where my children took swimming lessons and Gary's beautiful, blonde wife was an office assistant there. I again saw him and said hello at our 25th Class Reunion. The next time I heard from him was around our 50th reunion when I received an email from him to which I responded but didn't hear anything back. I worked with his former sister-in-law, Cathy Urton Arminio for many years and we occasionally would chat about Gary. I believe at that time he was living off the coast of an island on the north-east coast of South America. From appearances, it seemed he had a wonderful life and lived it his way.
Godspeed, Gary. 'Till we meet again!
