Gary Vowinckel "The Godfather of Truth", of Penn Hills, PA, age 63, died on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Beloved husband of Sharon Vowinckel; brother of Bobby Vowinckel; and son of deceased Arthur and Grace Vowinckel. An adult service and "Celebration of Life" event will be held at The Elks Lodge, 718 Beulah Rd., Turtle Creek, PA 15145 on April 3, 2018, 6:30-10:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Bobby 412-389-1951 Text/call.

My deepest sympathies to Gary's family. I have many fond memories of laughing and joking while picking vegetables from Wes's and my garden. We exchanged many recipes and samples of fermented foods and drinks. We will miss him dearly.
