I have his boat. Someday it will float again. The outboard engine will purrrr like a kitten. Gary told me it was a very good motor and worth more than the boat. I shall name the boat "The GW"

DR.WELCH WAS MY DENTIST FOR MANY YEARS.
HE HELPED CALM MY FEAR AND COULD MAKE ME

WORK ON ME WITHOUT NOVACAINE PER MY REQUEST. HARD TO BELIEVE BUT TRUE.

AND WANTED TO CONTACT HIM. SO SORRY I
DIDN'T BUT ON THIS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
OF HIS PASSING I WANTED TO CONVEY MY

Sharon & family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gary. I was his patient for 30+ years and was also in the Indian Princess program with Gary and his daughters. I was out of town and unable to attend his service. I knew from our conversations that he loved his family very much. May God be with you as you cope with his loss.

Dear Sharon and Family:
I have known Gary and your family since we moved into the neighborhood back in 1982. I remember when you arranged a doubles tennis match as a way of everyone meeting each other.
I will miss those day to day conversations I had with Gary as we took breaks from our outside chores. I learned alot from Gary regarding house upkeep. I do not say goodby to Gary at this time. Rather, "Gary, I will see you later". We know that in the end, Gary had the wisdom of a true believer.
Sharon, we know that you and your family were always there for Gary during the seven years he fought the disease. May God provide you and your family with comfort and guidance during this difficult time.

When I think of Gary I think of Camray, PBS, figure skating, tooth fairy, 2 for 1, Menards, Current River in MO, smoked meat, whiskey sour, home improvements, fuel milage, deals or sales, drum & buggle corps, big bands, Johnny Carson, boating, St Louis, car repairs, Foxy the terrier, skunks under the porch, tree on the patio roof, birthday parties, shoes off at the door, and if you got something free flaunt it after the other guy paid for the same thing. He will be missed and life will be more expensive. May Gary's soul rest in peace. May his daughters be frugal and thoughtful as their father. Always think it out before doing something. Gary was a real thinker.

Dear Sharon, I remember how excited you were before you were married when opening gifts Gary had sent you from Vietnam while we sat in your mother's kitchen. I remember your wedding and celebration at the Palos Country Club. That day was a wonderful time and my dad even played in the band. Gary's thoughtfulness to me every Christmas will always be remembered. As with all of God's children, his body will one day be restored to its robust and energetic self as an eternity of happiness awaits all who believe in
God's unimaginable Kingdom! May the Holy Trinity of Peace be with you and all your very lovely daughters and grandchildren during this somber time as we respectfully remember and hold dear in our hearts your beloved husband, Dr. Gary Welch.
With all my sympathy to the entire Welch family, Cousin Donna

Sharon and family
My sincere condolences on your loss.
I knew Gary as I also was a member of the Arlington Heights Lions Club.
He was dearly missed when he retired and I shall be ever thankful for his talent in the field of Dentistry.
