Gary WETTLAUFER Obituary
March 2, 1942 - January 6, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Gary Wettlaufer on January 6, 2017 at the age of 74. He is remembered by his wife, Joan; his daughters: Julie and Kelly; his sons-in-law and five grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and extended family in Ontario and by all who knew him. The family offers their grateful thanks to Dr. Allison Theman for a lifetime of care and to the medical staff at the University of Alberta Hospital, especially on unit 5E2.
A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Edmonton Golf and Country Club from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., 6201 Country Club Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6M 2J6.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the University Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Program at 8440 112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7.

Dear Joan:
I am so sorry to learn of Gary's passing in January. I am sorry that I did not know sooner. I went to public school and high school with Gary (York Mills) and remember you also. My husband David and I live in Vancouver and have been here for some time. I know there are many of his school friends who are not aware of the loss. I will

I am so glad Charlie and I could spend several days with you Joan and Gary in the summer special times to remember
I am so sorry we could not attend Gary 's
Celebration of life but given the circumstance it was not possible
May you keep him dear in your hearts as he was such a kind man and quite humorous at times
