Gene G. Grubel, 57, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, March 8, at home.
Born Sept. 20, 1964, in New York, N.Y., he was a son of the late Geraldine (Wysoki) Grubel.
He was the widower of Kimberly J. (Svenson) Grubel, who passed away March 9, 2009.
In addition to his wife and mother, Gene was preceded in death by his sister, Darien Grubel, and brothers, Dante and Glenn Grubel.
Gene was last employed by Pleasant Valley Landscaping.
He is survived by a son, Joshua T. Grubel and his fiancée, Alicia Simchena; two granddaughters, Adrianna and Brielle; two brothers, Guy and Greg Grubel; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, to defray funeral expenses. To extend online condolences, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com. Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements, with cremation services provided by Riverside Cremation Services LLC, both in Schuylkill Haven.
