Gene L. Snow

Gene passed away peacefully in his home March 3, 2015. Born May 21, 1931 in Elkhart KS to Ernest and Ruby Snow, Gene was the third of 4 children. The family moved to California soon after Gene's birth and settled in Santa Rosa. Gene served 4 years in the US Navy, then met and married the love of his life Patricia (Pettis) in May 1953. Gene and Pat grew their family to 5 and ultimately settled into their beloved home in Carmichael, where they enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Gene spent most of his work life with the State of CA, DWR. He had a passion for DIY project collaboration with family and friends; he loved coaching and spectating sports; and most of all he cherished spending time with his family and friends around him. If his children or grandchildren were participating in ANY event, Gene was always involved or an adoring spectator. Gene had a profound love for his family and will be deeply missed by Pat, his wife of 61 years; children Jerry (Jacque), Terri (Mike) and Lauri; grandchildren Brandon, Brad, Nicki (KC) and Jerry II; and great grandson Konner. We will miss you Papa! Family and friends will attend a Celebration of Gene's Life, Saturday March 14, 2015 at the family home in Carmichael, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
