Genevieve Schall

Genevieve Schall, 87, formerly of Ford City, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, in Texas. She was born March 24, 1923, in Ford City, daughter of Fred W. and Katherine (Snee) Flanders. Genevieve was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ford City. She previously worked on a dairy farm and then worked at Schall's Store in Garrett's Run. Surviving are three daughters, Nancy (Michael) McKenzie, of Yantis, Texas, Barbara (Charles) Pappal, of Indiana, and Sheila Noggle, of Cape Coral, Fla.; a sister, Betty Stivason, of Ford City; one brother, Edward Flanders, of Sarver; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John W. Schall; brother, Fred Flanders Jr.; two sisters, Mary Jane Forester and and Mildred Vojtilla; infant son, Richard Schall; infant daughter, Grace Schall; son, Donald Schall; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the at the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, Ford City, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. James Vincent officiating.
