BERGMAN, George Oliver February 4th, 1922 - October 10th, 2002 Predeceased by his loving wife Helen, parents Joseph and Olive Bergman, his sister Jean Harding, brothers Frank and Jack and son-in-law Frank Ambrogiano. Left to mourn his passing, his loving children, Kay (Pat) Kenny of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Don (Debbie) Bergman of Kelowna, BC, Linda Ambrogiano (Alcide Cloutier) of Worsley, Alberta, and Jackie (Bob) Mitchell of Edson, Alberta and his sister Doreen (Don) Cann of Oregon, USA, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. George was loved by all for his smile, spirit, kindness, and sense of humour. He enjoyed music and was proficient in many art forms - drawing, painting, woodworking and carpentry. George was an avid golfer and enthusiastic armchair sports fan with "Hockey Night in Canada" being a "must" watch. Funeral Services for George Oliver Bergman will take place on Saturday, October 12th, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Edson with Pastor Paul Voegtlin officiating. Cremation will follow this service. In lieu of floral tributes, donations to the Edson and District Health Care Centre Palliative Care Room, 4716 - 5th Avenue, Edson T7E 1S8 in memory of George is suggested by the family.
