I always remembered Uncle George as my second father, the most caring, honest, hard working family man in my life. He never wanted he already had his family and friends. I always remember and think about staying with him and fishing and talking of good memories. We would sit for hours talking about him hoeing and finding arrow heads and looking at his collection of them from the past. We will always think of him his love and compassion for his family until we are together again. We will be thinking of you. I love you Uncle George.

I'll always remember George as a very kind, gentle person. Although I haven't seen him lately, I always felt I could depend on him for help if needed. George and Betty was a very big part of my wedding and made it very special for us. I will always appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness, not only at that time, but throughout the time we were able to share with George.
Rest in peace, George. You deserve it.

He was gangly built and awkward looking, but in his prime he had the physical strength of two men. His career consisted of doing labor, and he worked harder than anyone I’ve ever known. But in this sad world, that career does not make you a lot of money. Instead the guy you work for gets it all.
His views and ideas about the world were, at times, a bit unorthodox, to be sure, but in his heart his thoughts were pure, his intentions always good.
George Christy was one of the most giving and loving men who ever lived. When I spoke of him to others, I told of how he was the only man I knew who would literally give you the shirt off his back, if asked, and expect nothing in return.
No, George was never had a lot of money, but his generosity was a match for any more famous philanthropist. And as he faced the final challenges of life, his quiet courage and humility came to the fore.
If giving all you can to help your neighbor is the key to gaining heaven, then surely George rests in peace and joy in the presence of God.
