George, What can I say, I met George 62 years ago, George had not changed one bit in all these years, once George like something that's it he would either eat it or used it for the rest of his life. My Husband John went to live with George and John's Sister Babe when he was 12 yrs old after John's Mother died, So George took on raising a young boy, when George himself was a young man, not an easy thing to do.When John and me got married George was Our Best man. George was always the best man,He was the best at what ever he decided do and never waived, to George if your gonna do it, do it right. If you asked George to wake you at 6:00 AM dear Lord above, you better get up or he would not let up,lol a creature of habit he was he would take the same lunch every day for a year or two... He was something. If we were sitting around the table now he would get the twinkle in his eye and that grin of his and say Evie I remember when you wore a yellow sun suit with the little ties on your shoulders and the longest legs like a Giraffe lol he was bad. Martha & George.. married 51 yrs not a easy task..any one of us married over 25 yrs today seems amazing.
Nobody's married life is prefect there are almost always a bump in the road here and there, Martha & George I'm sure had a bump or two, but they rode those bumps together because of the love and values they shared. Martha you are always in my prayers and the understanding of what your going through.2 months and my John will be gone 5 years unbelievable that the time is passing so quick,I have missed him and thought of him everyday as I know you are thinking of George.. 85 is a long life and he spent them with the Woman he loved and there family. May God Rest His Soul. He is now your and the entire families Guardian Angel. George you will always be in my prayers as will be your lovely Wife Marty.
