Your dad was a great craftsman. Always a gentleman and caring and sweet person. He wallpapered so many homes in Sun City Center for the company I worked for in the late 70s. He taught the craft to me and I learned enough to do work on my own. I needed help eventually and soon my sister began to help me. She turned that knowledge into a business which led to many positive things in her life and a decorating career. In a small way, he paid it forward. She had so many happy clients and a successful business. He gave me one of his papering tools that he used to smooth the paper. It had the perfect patina and worn edges from many, many rolls. I used it faithfully on my own and when my sister "loved" it, I gave reluctantly gave it to her. I stopped by your dad's house one time AGES ago to say hi - as I recall he had family around him. I wanted to pass this on to you as some of the good memories to cherish.

Dad thanks for being an amazing father. Thanks for giving us so much love. We loved going Fishing (remember that time a shrimp grabbed my finger and i screamed), hunting (remember when we were in a tree stand and i screamed at a buck), camping and reunions. Dinner, Movies and Casino, thank for being my dad. i miss you so much. see you again someday.

My condolences to your family. Did your father have a wallpapering service? If so I would like to post some fond memories.
