George Dixon, beloved husband of Shirley of Cochrane, AB, passed away on May 15, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of George Dixon, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Shirley, so many pleasant memories of a dear friend. Sharing worship in God's nature to a cruise to Hawaii and a vacation in Victoria - Even competitive games on TV. Just of few of so many reflections.
Shirley the times of faith and prayer mean so much. George has earned his reward and heaven's gates have been opened to him. No more pain, just perfect bliss!

It was wonderful to connect with George and share our mutual family ties. If only we could have connected much sooner we could have shared even more stories.
George and Shirley have been so very friendly and we enjoyed our phone conversations.
