I first knew George when his father was the United States Ambassador to Venezuela. Our parents were good friends and George and I went to Campo Alegre School together in the late 1940's. We both went to the Canterbury School and Georgetown together. I was always one year ahead of George as I was born one year earlier..
I last saw George at the Canterbury Centennial in New Milford, Connecticut in June, 2015. I remember very well, my thanking George for what his father did for me in recommending me for college and graduate school. I was accepted at every school I applied to.
George was a wonderful person with a great bilingual sense of humor.
I am extremely saddened to learn of his passing.
RIP, my friend, I will always remember you and your family in my prayers..

I am very sorry to hear about George's passing. I had the pleasure and honor to interact with George in BRATECC as a board member like himself. He was always in good spirits and always had very good suggestions to put forward on ways to improve our Chamber's ability to foster Business between Texas and Brazil.
He will be surely missed.
Rest in Peace George and my condolences to his wife Maria Christina, sons and family members.
Thank you.
