George Clifford Dorsey, aged 75, of Parrish, Florida, passed away on November 6, 2024.

Born on September 23, 1949, George led a life marked by dedication and service, both in his professional and personal endeavors.

George proudly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam, a testament to his courage and patriotism. After his military service, he channeled his skills into a successful career as a Master Carpenter, a vocation that not only showcased his craftsmanship but also his attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

He graduated from Colonial High School in Orlando, Florida, where he first began to develop his lifelong interests and skills.

George was a man of many passions; he cherished his 2010 Challenger, loved his dogs, and valued the time spent with friends and family above all.

George is survived by his life partner of 35 years, Julie Bynum; his siblings, Judy Hinson, Larry Dorsey, and Barbara Gionet. He was preceded in death by his sister Carleen Plemmons, brother Joey Dorsey, and his parents, Pauline Williams Dorsey and Clifford Carey Dorsey.

While no services are planned at this time, a gathering of family and friends will be scheduled in the near future to honor George's memory.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Akita Rescue Society of Florida at https://arsf.org/, an organization close to George's heart.

George will be remembered for his robust spirit, his unwavering loyalty, and the profound love he had for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the work he left behind.
