George Duren Obituary
George Rollo Duren of Electra passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. Rollo was born on June 28, 1935, in rural Wichita County to Hubert and Lady (Mullen) Duren. Rollo attended school in Electra and spent most of his life working in refineries for specialty welding companies Piping Engineering and World-Wide Welding. He was a past master of Masonic Lodge 1067 in Electra and served many years as treasurer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Douglas and Kenneth, son Randy, grandson, Randell Duren, granddaughter, Micah Caudle, son-in-law. Charlie Haynie and son-in-law, Mark Tettleton.
Rollo is survived by his wife, LaJune Duren, three daughters, Vicki Tettleton, Anita Bassett, and Vivian Haynie, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Friends of the Electra Library, St. Jude, or a charity of your choice.
