My dearest Aunt Clare & cousins,

Though the funeral is over & we have all gone home, I want you to know that the wonderful memories of Uncle George still fill my heart.

It gave me a sense of indescribable security just knowing that he was out there, in control of things, & that because of that, we were all safe.

There are few people in the world who have such a commanding presence as did Uncle George, and somehow it does not seem fair that he is gone so soon.

He will be always in my heart, where he will remain the handsome fellow with his hands on his hips, surveying the world around him with a smile---ready to conquer!

Dear Ellison Family,

I am so glad to have spoken to Mr. Ellison just a week or so ago. He was truly a great person who affected so many lives. "I thanked him and remembered his children for being such tremendous mentors." It was great to hear his voice again. I'm glad I had that conversation.

Dear Clare and Family,

I was so saddened to read of George's passing.

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all at this very sorrowful time. I know the sadness and disbelief you are feeling now because I lost my "dear Ben" a year ago also.

I always remember George affectionatly, while in Pope School, because we were both the shortest and were always teamed up together. He grew but I never did. So long ago!

Be strong, Clare. Time and faith have a way of healing.

With heartfelt and deepest sympathy.

God bless, Dorothy Rosales
