GEORGE EVONICH Obituary
Age 71, of Plum, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Beloved husband of Ruth (Grindle) Evonich; loving father of Deborah Franciosi, George Evonich, and Darlene (Bill) Gilboy; grandfather of Kate Vitek and Billy Gilboy; brother of Michael (Terry) Evonich and the late Ann Wyncoop and Nancy Coleman. George started his automotive career at Essex, then became a service rep for General Motors for over 29 years. After retirement, he worked for Dominion Distribution as an Eastern Route Supervisor. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL) corner of Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville, (412-856-4747). The family kindly suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
