GEORGE E.
Age 90, of Pittsburgh, peacefully died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Beloved husband of Beatrice (Yago) Fraudin for 61 years; loving father of George (Lisa) Fraudin, Jr.; proud grandfather of Ben and Matt Fraudin; brother of the late Paul Fraudin; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. George served in the U.S. Air Force and received his Distinguished Flying Cross Air Medal in WWII. He retired after 42 years as an electrical engineer at COPPERS and consulted with other companies after his retirement. George also received his professional engineering degree. His hobbies included golfing and bowling, but most of all he enjoyed following his grandson's sporting events. The Fraudin family would like to thank the staff at Country Meadows for all of their care and support. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211, on Friday 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coworker Foundation Fund at Country Meadows, Attn. George is always in my memories as I think of him often while at work. I have shared his knowledge that he passed on to me over the years we worked together. He always meant a lot to me, not only as a colleague, but as a friend. He was special and will be forever missed.

George was my Godfather and I had no idea he had passed away. He was a wonderful man and I am sorry for Beatrice and the kids that they had to spend so many years not being able to fully enjoy their time together. My love and blessings to you all. Jayne Frank, Lake Ann, MI

George Fraudin and I worked together quite closely for a number of years at Galletta Engineering Corporation, separated by only a reference table. He was one of the most influential people I've had the pleasure to work with. He was always professional but also a joy to be around. Even with our age difference, we hit it off, sharing bowling scores (I was pretty close) and golf (he kicked my butt) along with stories about our pets. I will never forget him and know he will truly be missed by many. My heartfelt condolences go out to Bea and the rest of the family. My prayers are with you all.
