OBITUARY GEORGE S. GANTCHEFF 1925 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Gantcheff on September 22, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was, amongst others, the Director of the Environment for the Societe de Developpement de la Baie James, professor at Jean de Brebeuf college, at Polytechnique of Montreal, as well as la faculte d'amenagement of the Universite de Montreal. He leaves to mourn his wife Jacqueline Tamenasse, his three children: Natalie, Elena and Georges, as well as their spouses, their mother Helene Kostadinova Gantcheff, his grandchildren: Laetetia, Alexandre, Sinyan, Anmyn, Vinh and Shan Luu, his two great-grandchildren: Tristan and Alexei, his brother Neno, many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Yves Tremblay as well as Benedicta Maningas for their great devotion and care. Relatives and friends will receive condolences starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 at: 3955 Cote-de-Liesse, Corner Ste-Croix, Saint-Laurent A liturgy of the word will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of the complex. Donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. "Ou es-tu mon bel amour? Depuis quelques semaines, tu etais enferme dans une cage Dont la porte etait restee ouverte. George Gantcheff - un ami irremplaçable, une lumière qui a rempli nos coeurs dès notre arrivée au Canada. Un homme de marque débordant de gentillesse, avec des qualités extraordinaires et qui est d'une bonté légendaire. C'est un grand vide pour nous, tu nous manqueras.
