George Graham Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 10, 2014.
George Cessna Graham was born August 27, 1992 in Ann Arbor, MI. He went home to be with Jesus Christ on August 26, 2014.

George is survived by his parents, Chuck and Ellen Graham; his sister, Abby Graham; his grandparents, Barbara Cessna and Jim and Velma Graham; aunts, Marilyn and Rebeca Graham and Carol Cessna; uncles, Frank Cessna and Mike Graham; and cousins, Leesha Cessna, Jaime and Judy Graham; and many caring friends.

George had just transferred to CU Boulder after attending Wheaton College and UC Colorado Springs in the past. He was pursuing a degree in Business/Economics and intended to go to law school and work for a non-profit organization. George was a National Merit Scholar who loved and excelled at academics. His intellectual drive was especially fueled by Collegium Study Center in his high school years.

Photographing God's creation was his delight and he shared photos on Facebook. He loved Mueller State Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. He would give his photos as gifts to express his appreciation.

George enjoyed volunteering at ESM (Ecumenical Social Ministries) in Colorado Springs and the Nashville Rescue Mission. He also served at the Pittsburgh Project.

George had many years of struggle with depression. He would want to thank the many people who loved, counseled, prayed for and visited him as expressions of Christ's love.

Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Saturday, October 18, 2014, Front Range Alliance Church, 5210 Centennial Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
