Best Friend for over 50 years. Many times when our contacts were separated for periods of time, George was always there. Just like a brother to me. Played in his band at the hottest club in Detroit... The Circus Lounge.1962, and Pancho Villa (after hours) Many, many hours at the studio and sessions.. George worked and worked, and he was hard to keep up with. I know Joey will carry on at Polaris ,with hard work as he was taught by his dad. The best to Clare, Joey, and Melissa, and Jamie,Rose,Mike and Lori. George had more contacts and friends than anyone I know. George touched the lives of many, many people, and he will be missed by many, many people.

I will miss you uncle. You are my one and only cool uncle. I am so blessed that I got to see you a few weeks ago, I believe that was for a reason. You always made me laugh and I always admired your view on life and things. The only regret I have is that I did not spend more time with you. You are an awesome man and I hope you can give a big hug to your brother, my dad. Love you Uncle, rest in peace. Your niece, Cris, oh and I need to mention when I got a new man in my life, I always wanted him to meet you for your approval, he misses you too.

George more then touched my life, he helped direct my future. George beleived in me and my abilites and opened a door to my future. Working with George at Mr. F's would be the start of many chapters in my life. Getting to know his family and feeling like part of the family. The place where I would meet my beautiful future wife Karen, now of almost 26 years. Which of course led to our son Jon now 24. Years of Soccer, football, laughs & cries. Best years of my life. None of this happens if I don't meet George. Amazing when you think about it, your whole life changes because of one person you have met. You will be missed deeply George, but I will always be grateful for your beleif in me and for opening the door to my future. RIP.

I loved George with all my heart. I spent years with him smoking cigars and recording, going out for breakfast and solving all the worlds problems. He was truly my best friend. I learned so much from him. I haven't stopped thinking about him for the past couple of days. I hope he is in a better place now, he will truly be missed and never forgotten.

I met George a few years ago, after I had dropped out of university to begin pursuing music. He was very friendly and down to earth man. He kind of reminded me of my late grandfather. He was very open, honest and full of knowledge. I am happy that he took me into his studio and taught me how it worked. I will never forget the things that I learned from him. Not only was he a great mentor but i feel like he kept some curiosity as well, even in his old age. He will be remembered and missed by many people, and I owe him a lot. Thanks George.
