HENDERSON, George Gregory Lifetime Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Served in the Merchant Navy during WW II. Worked most of his life as a sheet metal worker and also for Revlon Canada in Mississauga, ON. Peacefully on June 22, 2010 at Stoneridge Manor in Carleton Place, in his 85th year. Father of Susan, Brian, Sharon Malone, Brent, Kent and Glenn. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Melissa Malone Hodgson (Brandon), Trevor, and Brandon Malone. Great-grandfather of Taylor Malone Hodgson. Dear brother of Ellen, Edith (Robert) and sisters-in-law Rene and Phyllis. Predeceased by Marjorie, Flo, Dan, John and Albert. Friends may assemble at the Beechwood Cemetery (Ottawa) office on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:45 a.m. for a graveside service at 11 a.m. Donations if desired, may be made in George's memory to Stoneridge Manor Auxillary, 256 High Street, Carleton Place, ON K7C 1X1. Goodbye Uncle George, may you rest in peace, you were such a big part of my life growing up.
All my love and sympathy to Susan, Sharon, Brian, Brent, Kent, Glenn and all of your families. I wish I could have been there to honor George's life. He and the rest of the Henderson boys are together now.
