HITCHENS, Allan George. - Passed away peacefully on June 6, 2013 in the presence of his loving family. Loved and loving husband to Dulcie for 52 years. Loved and caring father to Melissa and Janine. Respected father-in-law to John, proud and devoted grandfather to Connor and Alec. Eldest son of George and Noreen Hitchens (both dec), loving brother to Brian, Graeme (dec), Sue, Peter and Stephen. Brother-in-law to David and Sharon. Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Son-in-law to Albert and Ada Hall, brother-in-law to Alf, Ted, Floss (all dec), Gwen, George, Henry (both dec), Jimmy, Bill, Ada and Graham. Dulcie, Melissa and Janine wish to sincerely thank the many doctors, health professionals who cared for Allan during his ill health. Dad, you gave it your best shot, we will miss you but rest easy we will look after Mum. Pop, be rest assured that we will tend to the tomato plants and keep aiming for that Melbourne Cup winner.
