Merle and Larry,

Very sad to read about your father. I always looked forward to seeing him at Temple Beth El, and he was a great neighbor when my mother and I lived on Leh Street. I always felt uplifted seeing him. Love, Carol

Rest In Paradise Mr.Hirsch...
This man was my very 1st Boss and job in 1977 @ Allentown manufacturing. What a warm and friendly environment to work in and a terrific man to see come thru the plant! The training and experience still lives with me today...
So glad to have met such a great man!

Dearest Larry, Merle and families,
Awww, I am so sad to read this today, although I know 'Uncle George' is finally with his beloved Mildred.
I could write paragraphs about this man. He was one of my fathers closest friends and confidants. In Kiwanis, the Needle Trades and friendship. Every women including my mom loved George. So handsome and charming with his signature greeting of a kiss on the hand complete with a brush of his little beard.
I'll never forget 'Uncle George' making me look so important taking me and my date to the Jr. High prom in his Bentley complete with a chauffeur cap! His generosity knew no boundaries!
I am happy I went to see him a few months ago, still listening to his 40's music like the cool cat he was.
I am sorry I didn't see this notice until it was too late. I would have definitely been there to 'see him off'. I have many pictures, contact me if you would like to have them.
Rest in Peace 'Uncle George'....give our love to our parents and dear Mildred while you all dance on the other side.
Peace and Much Love,
Valerie Chambers

With the deepest respect and sympathy to the Hirsch family, we bid farewell to our friend George. In the trades you were a great adviser and when needed a greater jokester. You will be fondly remembered.
