George Albert Hronich

George Albert Hronich, age 95 of Raton, NM peacefully passed away at home, on September 23,2021.

George Hronich was born in Berthoud, CO on June 4, 1926, to Lawrence and Ellen Hronich.

George was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, his Mother Ellen , Father Lawrence, 7 brothers and 2 sisters, a daughter Lucille Hronich, and a grandchild and two great grandchildren. And son in law Albert May.

George is survived by a sister Vera Kuhlman of Springer, NM. Children Mary May of Lamar CO., Lawrence Hines (Berit) of Wisconsin Delis, Wisconsin, Tony Hines (Gracie) of Raton, Billy Hines of Midland, TX.,Barbara Colangelo of Gilbert, AZ., Philbert (Angelica) of Raton, NM., Albert (Debora Sue) of Cimarron, Jonathon and Karen George K. (Patricia) of Albuquerque, NM. Grandchildren Carol, Charlotte, Charlene, Cheryl, Dana, Jana, Kimberly, Brenda, Cory, Stacey, Kendra, Tony Jr., Angel, Billy Jr., Bambi, Zacheriah, Lawrence, Adrian, Joseph, Crystal, Brandon, AJ, Andrew and Courtney, Brandi, Andrew, Courtney. Many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

George retired from the City of Raton.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able and was a Denver Bronco fan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to disabled veterans.

Services will be Thursday September 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Family Worship Center in Raton with Albert Hronich CLM Officiating Interment will follow in Cimarron at the Mt. View Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements for George Albert Hronich are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
