KAPPES
GEORGE HARRISON III, 63, passed away peacefully on Sept. 7, 2004. George was loved by many and has touched many lives. He was born in Phila., PA and moved to Florida in 1956. He served his country as a Marine Corp Sergeant. In 1985, he founded and was president of Kappes Electric Corporation. He was an avid boater and enjoyed a lifelong passion for music. George is survived by his loving wife Janet, two daughters Michele Kappes and Kimberly (Jorge) Baldor, son-in-law Randy Rossman, six grandchildren Randall, Christopher, Caitlin, Marisa, Amanda and Victoria, sister Diane (Eddie) Downing, brother John Bruce (Pat) Kappes and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, 6 PM to 8 PM at FRED HUNTER'S UNIVERSITY DRIVE HOME, 2401 S. University Drive in Davie. Funeral Mass Sat. 3 PM at St. David's Catholic Church in Davie. Donations to the American Cancer Society.
