George gave me my nickname Olly. We went to Central Tech and Ryerson. He was always cheerful and funny. A great friend. A real party animal. Mr Octoberfest

I first met George at Ontario Place while he was performing. I was working as a security guard at Ontario´s Place and the pub he was performing at was absolutely packed. I wanted to understand what the big deal was and so I made my way through and figured very quickly that a special entertainer was present.
Over the next 4-5 years I was privileged enough to compete in a jugging contest with George at the home opener of the Mimico Lacrosse opener.
He was gracious enough to invite me and many of my friends to Kitchener Oktoberfest over several years where we enjoyed countless hours of entertainment.
I´ve travelled to Edmonton to watch George perform at Halloween parties and helped him perform his signature move of drinking 1 beer, 2 shots, 1
Beer no hands. To this day, I´m great fun for that experience.
I can´t thank George enough for allowing me to be a part of his experiences, his friendship and being a true entertainer.
May you rest I peace George! Thank you for your entertainment and friendship.

I met George @ Strate's Restaurant MANY years ago and have followed him for decades every Oktober. I was his No. 1 fan! I have seen him perform in countless venues. Oktoberfest wil NEVER be the same without him.

Our deepest condolences to the George Kash family. We met George in the early days at Edelweiss Restaurant at Ontario Place, he was a great inspiration to us. We eventually played along side with George and his band, he was always very friendly, fun and courteous. George, as we all know, was a great entertainer and he will be very much missed. George will keep the drum beat going and the harmony will continue with the Angels.......God bless you George!

It was nice to see and meet him at Toronto Oktoberfest. He was a very open and friendly person who agreed to an interveiw and allowed me to film his show. He was involved with Kitchener Oktoberfest from the begining, Ontario Place from the begining to the end, Bingemans and also Toronto Oktobefest as a musician. He also performed at a lot of other venues for many years. His signature move was the upside down headstand drinking beer, which is quite an amazing feat. He was very talented as a musician and great with the audience.

I never met George but we had a couple of phone calls to have him as an entertainer at my workplace for a Christmas market. Lovely man! Always so nice to talk to.

George was always the light of the party.
I worked with him for a few years while at ON Place. We were also neighbours.
I recently moved back only to be his neighbour again. We had promised to get together but I guess George had other plans.
He brought joy to so many people.
Condolences to Joel & the family.

I knew George from back in the Eidleweiss days at Ontario Place, and up to his Kitchener Oktoberfest days. Had so many great nights partying with him. I tried to get him to go to Santa Monica back in the day to have a showdown with Bill "the Fox" Foster, at that Fox Inn to settle once and for all, who was the king of beer chugging. Just a fantastic man! He will be truly missed. RIP George.

Deeply saddened by the passing of George Kash today. It was an honor to have worked with such a wonderful person for over 10 years each Christmas on the Santa Radio Hour on CHFI.
