GEORGE KOSKO Obituary
84, former longtime resident of Duquesne, PA, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at his home in Port Orange, FL. Dr. Kosko was born in Independence, PA and moved to Florida in 1983 from Pittsburgh, PA after his retirement as a local radiologist for 25 years. He earned his pre-medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Louvain in Belgium. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Geraldine I.; two sons, Gary Michael Kosko of Pittsburgh and Mark Matthew Kosko of Port Orange; one daughter, Elizabeth Harper of New Smyrna Beach, FL; three grandsons, John, Jorge and Joseph Guevara and three great grandchildren, Maria, Sophia and Hobie Guevara. DUDLEY FUNERAL HOME, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Doc,Always enjoyed talking to you at Cypress Head during your afternoon visits. You always had some great stories to tell. Of course we all had to ask your advise on our current medical problems.
I don't know what I'm going to do with all these Tennis Balls now.

I wish to express my sympathy to the family. I worked with Dr. Kosko several years ago At Braddock Hospital (my first job) and I also Knew himwhen he was a resident at Mercy Hospital and i was an X-ray student technologist.

'Doc ' I will miss the great times you and I spent at the '19th' Hole at Cypress Head G. C., talking about everything from soup to nuts. Every once and awhile someone comes into your life and make that life a much beter life. George, this is how your friendship has influenced my life. I will ' Tip ' one every Saturday I am at the 19th hole in your memory. 'Doc' thanks for your friendship and i will miss you tremendously.
