George Wayne Leatherman

George Wayne Leatherman, age 79 of Perry Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. He was born in Canton, Ohio on July 31, 1934 and was the son of the late George and Ada (Beamer) Leatherman. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was currently employed at Cross Truck Equipment. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Telford and Wanda Zinninger and his brother Jerry Leatherman. He is survived by his wife, Jane A. (Hinkle) Leatherman, whom he married on June 13, 1958, his daughter, Tamara (Robert) Leatherman-Warner and his son, George M. Leatherman. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Alber officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. and on Monday one hour before the service. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park on Monday afternoon.
