MAXEMIUK, George It is with heavy hearts we announce that George passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at St. Peter's at Chedoke at the age of 75. He was the most loved husband of Olga for 48 years. Beloved Dad of John and daughter-in-law Wanda and Krista. Special Grampy of Danica and Aiden. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Irene and brother John. He will be missed by sister Rose (Skip), brother Russel (Margie), sister-in-law Barb, nieces, nephews and friends. We are forever thankful for our wonderful family, friends and neighbours for their compassion, kindness and support. A special thank you to George's home caregivers Dursuma and Irene, Dr. Cowan and Nurse Shelley and staff at St. Peter's for their care, support and compassion. Memorial visitation will take place at DODSWORTH & BROWN ANCASTER CHAPEL (378 Wilson St. E.) on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.
