George Nyvlt

NYVLT, George Surrounded by his family and friends, George passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2007 after an arduous fight with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Josette, his children Mark, Carl (Pilar) and Monica (Ariel), his sister and nephew, Maruse and Martin, and his three grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, and Alexandre. Immigrated to Canada from the Czech Republic, he obtained a B. Commerce and pursued a career in Canadian Management Accounting. He worked for various governmental departments, the latest of these was for the Auditor General of Canada. After retirement, he taught Management Accounting in the Czech Republic, while beginning his own business. He will be sadly missed by family, friends, and colleagues. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave., at Richmond Rd., on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, from 1:30 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m., with reception to follow. Special thanks to the nurses Katherine Rolland RN, Stephanie Dawe RN of CCAC, and Francois Rutarindwa RPN; and another special thanks to Dr. Virginia Hurdon, all of whom provided care and comfort, and a lasting friendship with George and family.
