My husband, Steve, and I always enjoyed visiting with George and Elizabeth when we lived on Opal St. The two of them would bring us vegetables out of their garden because we didn't move in until too late in the year to grow our own garden. We would sit and talk and talk. They always talked about you boys and what you were doing. We could always tell how proud they were of all of you. You were fortunate to have just caring and dedicated parents.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for all of you and my tender thoughts are with you. If you keep the good times in your thoughts, it will help the hurt.
When my husband, Steve, and I moved to Opal St in Louisville in 1988, George and Elizabeth took very good care of us. They were always bringing fresh produce from the garden over to us or a tasty dish that Elizabeth had prepared. They were great neighbors and I remember them both fondly. Steve has passed away, but I still communicate with them at Christmas.
