Grandpa it´s getting close to your time of year again 15 years later I still think of you often and the time I spent getting to know you. I miss our few conversations we had together and just hanging out with you. The little time we got to spend I will cherish always in my heart and mind. I really dread this time of year even though I should cause it´s my birthday month just hard for me to be happy knowing someone very special to me chosen to leave us your still and always will be with me and next to me in my heart. Love and miss you so much you wise stubborn grandpa of mine.

Dad,
I know it took me awhile to let you know how I feel. I miss you everyday, you were supposed to stay with me until I grew up. I haven't!!! I feel like, I'm 10 years old again. I can't stop wanting my daddy. I want everyone to know, I have never met a man with more knowledge, caring, loyalty or love then my dad. So I give him the respect he earned. I know he had that "Other Side" I even miss arguing with him ( I was never right!). Sharon's no fun when it comes to this. But when all is said and done, you did great with your life. I look at your kids, I look at their kids and I look at the next kids, even the next and in each one, I see part of you and grandma.

George, after my parents died in the 80's there was a hole in my life. After Glenn and I met in 2000 and married in 2002, I felt a presence of parents in my life again through you and Sharon. I have enjoyed knowing and caring about you and seeing how much you mean to Glenn and how you supported him with knowledge and teaching him how to fix things and just being there for us. I will miss our visits with you, having fun times out at your favorite place to eat "The Chinaman" and just hanging out with you. Also, I appreciate all the times you helped us figure out house projects and working with Glenn or instructing him. I see your smiling face in my mind and you will forever be alive in my mind and heart. For someone who struggled so much with your health, I still can't help but think of you as one of the most "alive" people I have ever known. I love you, thanks for being a part of my life! Perez Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I am honored that I was able to attend the service and funeral. They were beautifully done.
A couple Christmas's ago Sharon was bringing him his meal, drink, pie, and anything else he asked for. When he had what he needed and she had walked away, he looked at Rico and me and said, "I am the luckiest man in the world to have found a woman like her." He then said, "I wish everyone could find a wife as good as her." That was a different side of him that I had never seen before. That is how I will always remember him.
Although I’m sad I did not get more time to spend with him, I know he is happy now with God.
Love,
Britta (Rico)

Grandpa,
Over the years you have taught me so much. I'm going to miss the smile on your face when you were catching more fish then me. I'm going to miss the days we just sat around your house talking about bird hunting, training dogs and hearing your stories.
I knew i could always stop by or call and you would have some time and advice. i enjoyed your quick witt, your sense of humor, your knoweledge, and work ethic. Thank you for everything

Perez Family,
I feel truly blessed to be able to call you my family. I love you very much and look forward to spending more time with you. The memory of Grandpa that will always be with me is when we were leaving the family reunion and I went to give him a hug goodbye and he says, "I have been waiting for that all night"! I love hearing all the stories about him and wish I would have known him longer.
With all my love

Dad, I can't believe you are gone. You had a lovely service and you would be beaming at all of the people who were there and talked about how you touched their lives. I know you touched mine and shaped the person I am today. Thank you for your sense of humor and your strength. And as I promised you, I will take care of Mom. I'll have her banging those pots in no time. Rest well Daddy. And if the Twins make it to the Series I'll know you had a hand in it.
Love Michelle (NG)

Sharon and family,
I'm very sorry to hear of uncle George's passing. I truely enjoyed the common bond George and I shared via the outdoors. Whenever I seen him at family gatherings I would always make it a point to sit with him and talk deer hunting with him. I could never get enough of his wonderful stories. His sharp wit and brutal honesty will be missed. The back and forth banter him and I had will always be cherished. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
