Haddock, Ga- Judy Roberta Batchelor, 76, of Highway 22, East, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at a local hospital. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm, Friday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Haddock Baptist Church with interment at Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Ron McClung will officiate.
Mrs. Batchelor was born September 17, 1937, in Milledgeville and had lived in Haddock most of her adult life. She was the daughter of the late Charles Albert Parker and Inez Wiggins Parker. Mrs. Batchelor was retired as Activities Director for Lynn Haven Nursing Home and was a member of Haddock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Grady Berry Batchelor, Jr.
Mrs. Batchelor is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Berry and Darlene Batchelor; daughter: Kim Bedford; grandchildren: Angela and Zack Taylor and Sharon and Charlie Smith and by four great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the residence at 1537 Highway 22, East in Haddock.
