Today is St. George's Day in the Orthodox Church, a day that was always special to Dad since of course his name is also "George"! As they say in Romanian, "La Multi Ani", which translates as "to the many years". Happy Namesday, Dad!

One year since Dad went to Heaven. Now we are in the season of Easter, and remember so well the promise of Christ of everlasting life.

Dear George, I'll treasure my years of being a neighbor of you and Veronica in Midland. The times that you shared memories of your youth and coming to America have a special place in my heart. I know that you will be missed by many and I thank God that I was privileged to have known you. Rest in peace with our Lord, my dear friend. Eva Dean Bennett Freeman, Redmond, OR

"Hark the Herald Angels Sing!
Glory to the Newborn King!"
Look closely at the Heavenly choir, and you'll see Dad up there, singing in it!

Dad's 88th birthday was yesterday, August 10th. His first birthday to be celebrated in Heaven, with the angels singing! Happy Birthday, Dad!

Dear George,
Even though I'm saddened by the news of your passing, I'm comforted in the knowledge that " ...No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him." You've run the good race; now rest and refresh yourself in the love of your Creator.

Today, April 23rd, is St. George's Day. Although Dad was born on August 10th, he always enjoyed the celebration of his saint's namesday. Happy Namesday to dear George/Dad!

Dearest George, I miss you more than can ever be expressed in words...you have always been and always are sweet, genuine, kind-hearted, loving, devoted, a true servant of God, and everything that typifies goodness and love. You have impacted the lives of more people than you will ever know in a very positive way. I am eternally blessed to have you as my father-in-law...God is now holding you in the peace and comfort of His loving arms, never to suffer any pain or tears again....Love you so, so much, always, Audrey Puscas, your daugher-in-law in Salem

Heaven has received a wonderful addition. George was such a pleasant and interesting gentleman. I will treasure the memories I have visiting with him the few times we met, and I will remember his wonderful smile forever. My sympathy and prayers to the family, as I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A wonderful man that I had the pleasure of working for. He was the best Boss I will ever have. He will be missed. My prayers are with his family.

Our Dad, Beloved Father, George Puscas
My Dad was the kindest, most good-hearted person one could ever ask for as a father, and took the best care of his family, whom he loved so much.
Dad, we love you. Always.
