George Ramsey Obituary

RAMSEY George Lee Ramsey, 68, passed away on February 22, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born September 24, 1948 in Staten Island, NY, the son of the late George Ervin Ramsey and the late Susan Sanna Ramsey-Reeves. George retired from Prudential Insurance Company after 32 years of service. He also worked in real estate for 25 years. He was an avid cyclist, enjoyed traveling and was a dedicated Jaguars fan. George is survived by his loving wife, Michaelyn Ramsey; son, George A. Ramsey (Bronwyn); brother, Robert Ramsey (Karen) and their children Jessi and Thomas of Washington State; grandchildren, Jordan Tyler Ramsey, Gavin Lee Bucko of Lisle, IL and Christopher and Emily Olsen of Jacksonville, FL. Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 26 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
