George Roberts Obituary
ROBERTS III
Beloved brother and friend departed this earth to join God and his much loved parents; George F. Roberts and Karoline Luisa Christine Von Rodenberg Roberts. George left behind his sister, Penelope Alice Roberts Kinzer, brother-in-law, Am- brose “Hank“ Kinzer and niece, Karoline Christine Crittendon; four adored cats, Two-Bits, Hel- lo, Itsy and Patty.
George was born in San Francisco, CA on July 12, 1932. He grew up in San Marino and Monrovia in Southern California where he attended school before joining the Navy on February 5, 1942. He was honorably discharged on May 5, 1958. George then entered the Army and served in Korea, he was honorably discharged on the 18th of April, 1961. George continued to serve his country as a member of the National Guard until 1992 when he retired as a Sergeant on July 12. He then moved to Reno, NV where he lived with his sister and brother-in law. George was a true Gentleman who's passing will leave an empty place in all who knew him, especially in the heart of his sister, Penny.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center Chapel on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at 1 p.m.
