George Robinson Obituary
George Arthur Robinson, age 73, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, Virginia.
George was born in Galax, Virginia on July 17, 1946 to the late Johnnie Wilburn and Albertie (Bertie) Isom Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers James Kenneth Robinsons and Danny Ray Joe Robinson.
George is survived by sister Christine Shupe; brothers Mitchell Robinson, Ricky Robinson and Rudolph Robinson all of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Patsy Robinson of Pulaski, Virginia; one nephew and several nieces.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in the Bobbitt-Quesenberry Cemetery, Fancy Gap, Virginia at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Galax Volunteer Fire Department, 300 W Grayson Street, Galax, VA 24333 or the Shriners Children’s Hospital. 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605

My condolences for each of you. George was a blessing to all. Our my Loree Smith bowled with him. We enjoyed dancing when they were able to at Waddell. He was a great man and a pleasure to be around..May Gods comfort be with you.

Family so sorry for your loss,George my sandlot football coach. He sent me to the stables many times at felts park,we would always have some laughs when our paths crossed.He will be missed.
