Dear Stacia and Family, I am very sorry to hear of George's passing. He was very, very kind. Growing up I always admired you both and still do. You have my deepest sympathy. I am sorry I couldn't make it to his wake and funeral. So many memories of you all kept popping up all week. May his memory live forever.
Love and prayers to you all, Evangelea (tinky) Poulis Deforge

Mrs. Savramis, Nick, Karen, and Peter.
I was always so impressed with Mr. Savramis' wonderful outlook on life and his engaging personality. A true Dover legend. The City of Dover is richer today for what Mr. Savramis contributed to the community. May he rest in peace and your memories be eternal.

We'll remember George:
Sitting on his Gilford, N.H. stoop, always ready to share a smile and good story.
His and Stasia's generosity sharing a great meal at their Dining Room table.
As among the very finest of neighbors. Always thought of with admiration and love.
Sincerely, John and Doreen O'Connor, Gilford N.H.

My best memory of George was this story of the many he told. George started his furniture store with no inventory or customers. He went to a manufacturer in Boston to buy some furniture. The salesman asked him if he had credit. George answered what's credit. The salesman answered dun & Bradstreet George answered who is he. The salesman asked how he would pay. George said CASH. The rest is history

I was saddened to hear of George's passing. I remember being in his store many times in the late 60's and early 70's where we bought a whole houseful of furniture. He even delivered furniture and let you try it for a week or two with no deposit, no receipt. He was always smiling and very cheerful every time we stopped in and always had a joke or witty saying to share. He referred to himself once as "the golden Greek of Central Avenue". He was truly a unique individual and I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his family.
