I am a Wednesday volunteer at the Red Door and was often lucky enough to work with George. He was always ready and willing to help in any way necessary - yet he was also willing to use his sales experience and business sense to suggest ways (politely) that things could be improved - and he was invariably right! George was a spiritual man but certainly no "holy roller" he had a tremendous sense of humor and was a great raconteur. We used to tease him that when he was at the Red Door we did a much brisker business because the people who came to the door enjoyed George’s company so much
Personally, I?will always remember our wonderful rambling talks, which could run from how to make a sandwich to how to save the world.
He was a great guy - I am sure he will be sorely missed - my sympathy to his family and to all the people whose lives he touched and enriched.

Mary Ann and Family --
My sincere condolences on your loss. George was always so kind and cheerful. I enjoyed singing with him in the choir for a brief time and appreciate all that he and the rest of you did for Mom over the years.

My sincerest condolences to George's family. I am a regular Wednesday worker at the Red Door. I had the good fortune to work with George on several occasions when he gave even more of his time and substitued on a Wednesday. He was truly a joy to work with. He was so full of energy, did whatever was needed and was totally entertaining. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

We offer our deepest sympathy and our prayers to George's family. He was truly a wonderful man. During a very difficult time in our lives he was there for us. He gave freely of his time, his friendship, his strength and his love. Thank you, George. You were a blessing from God.

We have a sense of great peace and tranquility as we offer our prayers for Uncle George. His example of healthy Catholic Christian life is one that will be exemplified for many generations to come. Although many of us aspire to have the same levels of deep faith and devotion to our Lord that Uncle George has, we will always remember his humble self when speaking of what his faith has meant to him and his family. His SPIRIT is already among us and he will live in all of those lives that he has touched forever. May his soul rest in the peace of our Lord forever.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I worked with him at Ohio Casualty from 1969 until he retired in 1990. I worked closely with him while he was an Underwriter and also when he became Manager. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He taught me alot of valuable insurance premises that really helped me to advance to Examiner in the rating department. He will always be remembered by me as a very caring and kind man. I appreciated him immensely. I retired in 2004 from OC after 35 years of service from the Fairfield Ohio office. I transferred after the Pgh office closed. Again, please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.
