SHEARD, George Passed away peacefully on December 26, 2004 in Victoria, BC at the age of 88 years. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Beryl (Bea); children, Robert (Juliette), Delyth (Bob), Theresa (Ric), George, Margaret (Chris); grandchildren, Michelle, Bob, Karri, Rick, Allison, Ross, Emily, Heather and Andrew. Also sadly missed by relatives and friends. George was born in England immigrating to Canada at age 13. He served in the RCAF for 25 years as a firefighter and retired to Victoria. A Celebration of George's life will be held at SACRED HEART CHURCH, 4040 Nelthorpe St., on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Anawin House in Victoria. 24903

On behalf of my mother Shirley and siblings Janice, Craig, Brenda and Carlene we were saddened to learn of the passing of Uncle George. Our thoughts and best wishes are with Aunt Beryl and the family. I will always treasure the memories of Uncle George in particular his humour and hospitality on the occasions that I visited and stayed at your home.
