Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34 Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

I never met Dr. Sherman but his sister spoke so often about him, his love and protection of those he cared for, that I always pictured him as a "giantific" man.

Kim & Kevin! I'm soooo sorry for your loss. I cherish the time that we were able to spend together last week. I really feel blessed that I was able to visit with Uncle Doc and see him one last time.
I'm smiling as I think of the peck he gave me on my cheek when I said good-bye. I think he said "ok baby" before I released him from my hug.
I'm sad that he's gone but relieved that he's with Aunt Sandy again. I'm so proud of you two for taking care of your father.
Kevin you've made us all so proud! What a great example you've been for other Bahamian sons! Kim you've been amazing also. Being a care giver is not a task to be taken forgranted. Aunt Sandy would be thrilled to see you both working together for the benefit of your father. Continue to take care of each other now.
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it back for the funeral. Promise me you'll remember some of the great stories y'all will share this weekend. Enjoy the time with the extended family. Love you both.

to the family of the late dr.shaerman we're so sorry for your lost and we would like for you guys to know that our preys go out to you all and that he would be greatly miss by our family he was our mothers doctor from we were little kids for as long as we can remember right on up till he couldn't do office visit's anymore he was just like a member of our family for every office visit mom had to make to him for her regular doctor's appointment he could tell everyone that she would always have a special package of seafood to bring him for him and his family and even when mom was going through her breast cancer ordeal he was there every step of the way to help her through it we always made sure to thank him for all his support during our mom most difficult time and to family of dr,shaerman we just want you guys to know that he was a truly great man to everyone he came in contact with and our mom(MAXINE WALLACE OF RAGGED ISLAND)and our whole family are going to miss him dearly so to our family friend and doctor dr.shaerman you may be gone from us but we'll never forget you may god and his angels be with you MUCH LOVE FROM MAXINE WALLACE AND FAMILY FROM RAGGED ISLAND
