Mr. George R. Silvers Jr., 46, of Dalton, departed this life Friday, March 7, 2008, at his home.George was born May 21, 1961, in Whitfield County.He was preceded in death by his father, George R. Silvers Sr.; a brother, Roy Junior Silvers; and sisters, Viola Ruby Barrett and Violet Ann Cantrell.He is survived by his beloved mother, Annie Parr Silvers; precious daughter, Hannah Michelle Silvers; wife, Annette Silvers; sisters, Georgia and Jerry Nelson, Teresa Dianne Silvers, Linda Lou Rhodes and Shirley Jane Maney; brothers, Troy Lee and Charlotte Silvers, Billy Joe Silvers, Henry Tom Silvers; and several nieces and nephews.Services to celebrate the life of Mr. George R. Silvers Jr. were Monday, March 10, 2008, from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Spence officiating. So very sorry I missed the funeral and wake. George was a friend to me. I will miss him. My sympathy to the Silver's family. In memories we remain in this life.
