Age 89, of McKees Rocks, peacefully, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Jean Irene; dear son of George (Sally) Stavropoulos; grandfather of George Stavropoulos III and Sara Holland; great-grandfather of George IV and Aaliyah. Family and friends are welcome Monday 2-4 and 6 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 700 Woodward Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. George was a kind heart and loved going to festivals especially GREEK ones...My mom Athena would call him once in a while to speak Greek and he would give her all the news...He always was on the go....Great sense of humor...
George will be missed by our family...We just heard today of his passing....

My deepest condolences, prayers and love to George and his family. I worked for Crossroads (now Subs & Suds) from 1992-2000, and remember this gentle man fondly as one of our favourite regular customers. He was always kind, and made us smile. I look forward to seeing him again someday, in Heaven. May he rest in Eternal peace.
