Dad; so sorry for what you had to endure the last year of your life; no one deserves that. But, to quote a line from your service: You came home; but actually you found your way back home; to where it all began. Knowing that you were coming home to family who loved you and would look out for you no matter what. And they did; I hope that brought you some comfort and joy. As I know it did for me; I hope you are resting peacefully now. We have a new angel looking over us.
Good night Dad; sweet dreams and see you in the morning or in the funnies.
That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children, who has filled his niche and accomplished his task. who leaves the world better than he found it, who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it, who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.
When he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.

Rest in peace Dad. May this candle light your way to your next journey. My heart is sad but I know you're in a better place now and without pain or tears. I love you. Jackie

Dear Dad, my heart is breaking today; that you are longer with us. I just want to call you up and hear your voice again; just know how much I loved you and was routing for you to get better; so that I could take you out to Castle Island and share that hot dog we talked about.
But I know you have finally found peace and serenity.
Your battle is now over; no more tears flowing down your cheek,
no more pain, no more suffering; now you are no longer weak.
I still do not understand why this had to happen to you,
but I am proud to say you are my dad, one of the strongest men I ever knew.
Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.
So Good night Dad; sweet dreams and see you in the morning.
Love Debbie

To Dad: You have suffered much in mind, body, spirit and health these past 11 months.
You are finally at peace, there is no more pain.
We all Love you and did our best to help you through until the end..
Do not stand at my Grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep. I am the diamonds glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush. I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
Love Kathy xoxo

Saying goodbye to someone we love is heartbreaking. May you find comfort in all the special memories. May the loving memories ease your loss and bring you comfort. His loss is immeasurable, but so is the love he left behind.
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
