i certainly wish i had an address for Chole so i could send her something Geo and my mom died two days apart so its a double loss for me not having Geo to run into and not having my mom around its been a very lonely year

We have so enjoyed reminiscing about all the memories we have of you and George living in Naperville and loving us as a young and growing family. George's legacy will always be one of love, compassion, faith and of course humor. You two provided so many of us with deep strength, love and friendship and we will be forever grateful.

Sister Watson, we are saddened to hear of President Watsons passing. We enjoyed serving in the Chicago Temple with the two of you. He was always a kind and loving man!

Among my fondest memories are those years working in the Chicago Temple when George and Chloe were the temple president and matron. They made the temple a place of love, service, and joy, even more so than it had seemed before (at least so it seemed to me). It saddens me to think that he is not still on earth in mortality, but I like to think that he is serving in another, higher capacity in the temple these days. My love and hugs and sympathy to Chloe and her family. Thank you both for the memories!

We (my mother and I) were saddened to hear that the world lost such a great man, but we are likewise very happy that heaven will now enjoy his friendly and dynamic presence. We knew him from the Naperville stake. He always had a smile, a handshake, and encouraging words every time we met. He was, and still is through memories, an uplifting influence on our faith. My dad talked about him constantly and considered him one of his closest friends, as well as a spiritual giant, both in the Church in general and in the temple work that they did together. I have attached some photos of him, Chloe, and my dad and mom at his Open House on 11 Oct 2015, before he moved from the Naperville area.

Bishop Watson changed the life of our family forever. He was instrumental in my dads decision to join the church. We are literally eternally grateful for his example and guidance. He had an impact on me as a youth. Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends- the entire Watson family.

George was our Bishop when we joined the church and our temple President when we first worked there. He always had a warm smile and handshake every time we saw him. He will always have a place in our hearts. Our condolences to Chloe and the girls. Wish we could be there to give you a hug and celebrate the life of this wonderful man.

I am so sorry to hear about Bishop Watson's passing. He was a great example to me and my family as Bishop of the Naperville second ward after I returned from my mission. I have always loved the Watson family but after I left Naperville lost touch. I express my sincere condolences to Sister Watson and her daughters and extended family.

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of this
truly beautiful man who had such a lovely influence in our lives. We send the greatest love to his beautiful wife, Chloe, and to his wonderful girls and their families. God bless you all. We have all been blessed to know your wonderful husband and father. Carlos and Vivian Adams

George Watson was and always will be a spectacular person who was very caring about all We know George and Chloe and their 3 girls thru Church They are great people and will be missed by all Ed and Sharon Kettley

Oh how we love George and Chloe! How can such feelings of love and gratitude be framed by mere words? But let these words ring true.... with all the luster of the sun, comes the brilliance of a new day for George. Into the Saviors arms hes gone to an everlasting work, extended and exalted! We love you George! You will be missed!

I love you my friend and will miss you beyond what you will know till I see you again. You believed in me when I felt nobody did and loved me just as much as well. Not a major memory in my life you aren't a part of. You are a great example, friend, leader, mentor, and will always be apart of my family and in my heart. You lived your life how the Saviour wants us and showed through your example how to live that life as well. As greatly missed as you will be the reunions you have had and will continue to have will be great.

He was a loving man to all. He was such a sweet and kind person and I always loved listening to his Sunday School lessons. I am sad that he is gone. Heaven earned a great angel!
