February 17, 1937 – May 2, 2008George Milton Webb, 7l, of Elm City died Friday, May 2, 2008. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at Joyner's Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Moore and the Rev. Tony Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.He is survived by his wife Carol Flowers Webb; a son, Steve Webb and wife, Kathy, of Elm City; a sister, Nancy Webb of Raleigh; two brothers, Wilbur Webb of Tifton, Ga., and Joseph "Bo" Webb of Wilson and three special relatives: Gail Webb Lapole of Rocky Mount, Robin Webb Corbett and husband Ray of Macclesfield and Jet Webb and wife Sharon of Merritt Island, Fla.He was preceded in death by his parents: Luther Edward Webb and Thelma Gardner Webb.The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home and at other times at 5673 Webb Lake Road.Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to Edgecombe Homecare and Hospice, 2909 N. Main St., Tarboro NC 27886 or American Cancer Society, Wilson Relay For Life c/o Teresa Jones, 4422 Saddle Run Road, Wilson NC 27896. Arrangements by Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson.Paid obituary.
