George Welsh Obituary
Born July 14, 1942, in Beaver Falls, he lived in Arnold since 1986. An Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a laborer at various steel mills. Mr. Welsh, who also was a locksmith, enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Roberta L. Wilks Welsh; two daughters, Tammy Lynn Cline of West Virginia and Kirsten Louise Welsh, at home; two stepsons, Shawn Taylor of Richmond, Va., and Jason Taylor of Evans City; a stepdaughter, Sara Taylor of Tarentum; a grandson; and a stepgranddaughter; a brother, Thomas Lawrence Welsh of Youngstown, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Margaret) Tyson, also of Youngstown, and Jane Monroe of Tampa, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton Thomas Sr. and Dorothy Werner Welsh, and a brother, Burton Thomas Welsh Jr. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be at a later date. ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., a family-owned and -operated funeral home, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, is in charge of arrangements.
