Kathy,

I was very sorry to read that George had passed away.

For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of serving with George on the Board of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, where I assisted him on the Transportation Committee. His brilliance was matched by his kindness and generosity, and each and every Board Member will miss him greatly.

Please accept my deepest condolences.

George was a warm and charismatic individual, and a generous supporter of Point Park University--one who played a most significant role in enabling the institution to grow and achieve prominence in the academic worlds of arts, science, and business. He was a true polymath who drew from his impressive background and professional accomplishments to impact on Point Park as not only a Trustee, but in his presence, along with his wife Kathy, in numerous University functions and activities. He will be dearly missed, but always remembered.
