Georgia has done more for me than I can say in words. She has taught me unconditional love and the importance of family. I was fortunate enough to spend the last four years in California in her home and I only wish I had taken advantage of the time I had with her. She has been my best friend since I can remember, whether it was watching movies that my mother would never let me watch, or taking adventures walking through nature paths and up to the capitol building. Those wonderful memories will stay with me until I see her again. Her resilience was incredible and has become a quality that I am sriving to attain. I will look up to this powerful woman forever.

To The Family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss - which I know is a great one. You are all such wonderful-talented people your mom being such a marvelous influence. I am graced with one of your mom's fabulous paintings of an Indian warrior that has always had a special place on my wall - I will cherish it always. One of the things that charmed me about your mother was how much she loved giving - (I still have some pants of hers!)but how she would buy things for Hauley's home or a cute outfit for Dallas - that woman loved to shop! Georgia was very witty with knowing what would set you to giggling about the special traits of others; she was such a kick! Love you all - PEG

I feel very fortunate to have had this wonderful women in my life during my most formative years. I am saddened greatly to hear of her passing but also I am flooded with a wealth of wonderful memories. Lane & I had many adventures and she was great at providing lessons and thoughts to help us along the way. Quick to praise and slow to judge and a fine cook to boot. I wish the Farish family peace and harmony in the coming days. May your wonderful memories of your mother soften your journey. My love and support to you all.

I found Georgia to be a "breath of fresh air" in our family. She could laugh and be honest. I am very sad for our loss but I am grateful for her progression to a better life.

Thank you family and friends for all of your kindness over the past few weeks. I am humbled and grateful for the love that has been shown to Lane, Hauley, and me. It has turned a trying, sad time, into a powerful experience for each of us. I will never forget your love. I was so touched to see many old friends (family, school, co-workers) at mom's funeral; and to have received so many kind notes. I feel truly lucky that we have known so many wonderful people. I love and appreciate you all.

DEAR FARISH FAMILY
I AM TRYING TO FIND THE WORDS TO TELL YOU HOW SAD WE ALL ARE FOR YOUR LOSS AND AT THE SAME TIME TO TELL YOU HOW AMAZING GEORGIA WAS. BUT, YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT. THERE ARENT ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE GEORGIA AND WHAT SHE MEANT TO SOOOOO MANY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. IVE READ MANY ENTRIES AND THEY ARE ALL SO GEORGIA. I JUST HOPE SHE HAD A GLIMPSE OF JUST HOW WONDERFUL SHE WAS AND WHAT AN IMPACT SHE MADE ON SO MANY LIVES. I COULD GO ON TO DESCRIBE HER ATTRIBUTES BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY TO LIST. I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SHARING HER WITH US ALL. WE MISS HER GREATLY.

Georgia was a friend that will always have a special place in my heart. I could talk to Georgia about anything and not be judged, and she would respond with so much wisdom. Georgia had a great sense of humor and many times we would laugh and cry at the same time. I miss my friend terribly.

To Georgia's children and grandchildren: You are all truly blessed with the legacy she left you. How blessed we all are to have known Georgia. She touched everyone's life with her gentle wisdom. She made me a stool for my kitchen, every one of my grandchildren call it theirs. I will remember her always.

Thank you everyone for honoring my mother with your presence Wenesday.
I wasn't able to speak to you all. To those I did, please forgive me for not ending our conversation before moving on to the next familiar face. Some people I haven't seen in 25 years or more . Time flies. We must be having fun.
What an amazing day! The right amount of tears, the right amount of laughter. I've never been to a funeral where the crowd has actually clapped. My mother would love that.
Thank you Mike Lee for your help putting together the video on short notice. I haven't seen you in probably ten years. You dropped everything and helped me. What a friend!
Scott, Steve, Kelly, Matthew, Daniel, Judy, Shauna, Matt, Crystal, Thank you!
An extra special thank you to Brooke for your delivery and sense of humor in conveying my memories. I saw your dad in you. (look out Tony Robbins). You and Brent have been a god-send. I love you and I'm forever in your dept.
Sandra, Ann, Stacey, Kim, and Carol thank you! The food was excellent with enough left over for Super Bowl Sunday (go SeaHawks)-
Thank you Meggin, Ronald and your associates at Wasatch lawn. Meggin if your available call my son Dustin, 1 801 706 7672.
Dr. Bretton Newman, Karen, Rene and the staff at Rocky Mountain Hospice; I have witnessed the birth of my children and the death of my mother. The irony between the two is amazing. There is no harder work than dying. Thank you for helping my mother pass comfortably and with dignity.

I would like to extend a warm and heartfilled thank you to everyone who helped us in this very trying time. i have come to understand just how special my mom really is. she has raised the bar so high in her strength to survive, to overcome, WORK, hand written notes (lost art!), twisted sense of humor,... I could go on and on. I'm admitting that that bar is just too high for me and I know I won't even come close! I just want to say I'm so proud of my sister Crystal, she is such a rock of strength (gee, who did she get that from), a beautiful singer (she did NOT get that from my mom), and a wonderful speaker, and my wonderful creative brother Lane who gave us all a gift in the video he made in tribute for our mom. I'm so very proud of my family. Thank you to everyone who attended her services. We wish we had more time to visit with you all. Her friends in CA are putting together a website www.georgiafarish.com where you can leave messages and view pictures. It will be up soon so keep checking. Love to you all! MY MOM WILL CERTAINLY BE MISSED!

Dear Crystal, Hauley, and Lane,
You guys will never know how much your mom helped me in my youth. I was always envious of Crystal for having such a beautiful, young, "with it" mom. But, I felt lucky to be able to share her with all of you. I remember going through her closet with Crystal to look at her gorgeous clothes and shoes and loving everything in there. She was so nice to always invite me on your trips. Those are some of my greatest memories.
She always treated me as her fourth child and I'll cherish those times I spent with your family. I loved going to the tampico every night with your family instead of eating "hamburger Helper" with mine! I knew if my timing was right and I was at your house when she got home from work that I'd get to go.
I will always remember some of the funny conversations Crystal and I had with your mom about the facts of life. She always tried to shock us and embarass us.....and it worked.
My love to all of you. Thanks for sharing your mom with me.
love,
shauna

In honor of a very graceful, strong, dedicated woman . . . . We have wonderful memories of you; in childhood playing with our cousins at your home, always perfectly clean, always with yummy treats, and as adults our gatherings together as a family. You always wore a smile and had lively stories to share. I'm sorry I never had more one on one time with you as you were a woman I've always looked up to and admired. You will be remembered with love, and missed always.
Love,
Becky

Dear Family,
Words cannot express the feelings and the deep love that I had/have for dear Georgia! As I am sure many people have shared with you, she was there for me in difficult times of my life when no one else was, always with a listening ear, an open heart and an uncanny way of knowing exactly what I needed without ever saying anything. She always made you feel like you were her best friend and most important person in the world. There is no one in this world that I admired or respected more. She was amazing and this world is at a great loss without her but I know she will still continue her earthly angel missions in a happier place.
My heart is full, our loss is great and I love you all so very much! My family is the greatest in the world!
My love,
Suzy

I worked with Georgia for a little while at UUMC in OBGYN. She was such a wonderful person and was always so kind and helpful to everyone here, even when it meant going out of her way, or doing something that wasn't what she was expected to do. She ALWAYS went that extra mile, and always had that smile on her face. I am so sorry for your loss. I am greatful to have known such a wonderful person! May you all find the peace and comfort that you need at this time.

Dear Crystal, Hauley and Lane,
I remember your mom as a great lady who loved you all very much. She was very thoughtful, too. One time I needed help with a cooking project, and she gave me a recipe for a red velvet cake to make for Valentine's Day. This was when we all lived by Southeast Jr. High. We loved your family then, and we still do.
I am sorry for your loss, and I will pray for you all to have peace and comfort during this time.
Love,
Michelle Stevens Zwick

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT GEORGIA. I WORKED WITH HER FOR MANY YEARS AT DR. JOHNSON'S OFFICE. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON, AND A GOOD FRIEND. SHE WAS A CLASSY CLASSY LADY. ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, KIND, A HARD WORKER. SHE WAS MISSED WHEN SHE LEFT AND WENT TO WORK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH.
SHE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT HER KIDS, AND HER GRANDKID. SHE LOVED EVERYONE OF YOU SO MUCH.
I AM GREATFUL FOR HER EXAMPLE AND HER FRIENDSHIP.

Since Steve sent me an email that Georgia had past, I have been thinking about all the fun times we had growing up. Georgia always cut me hair. She always made me feel special. She always told me that I got her very best haircut. I also remember the Christmas Eve parties at Bill and Hazel's house. She way always there, always smiling and would bribe us to be good, Santa Claus was not far away.
I am glad that she had time with the grandchildren. I want them to know that she was so very special. She helped a lot of people along the her path her on earth. I want you 3 to know that after you Dad died, she worked very hard to raise you right. She loved all of you very much.
Our prayers are with you. May God hold you in his hands......
